Breathing Space Daventry

Group designed for people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and their unpaid Carers, meet on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month.
169 Wellbeing Cafe, Carers Drop In

We attend the Towcester 169 Wellbeing Cafe on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month between 12 noon and 1pm as an informal Carers Drop-In

Who are carers?

Anyone, including children and adults, who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction and cannot cope without their support. The care they give is unpaid
Support line

Our Carers Support Line provides a confidential service to support the needs of Adult and Young Carers, including Parent Carers. The service can be accessed by Carers, professionals or anyone with a Carer related enquiry or issue.

Why we do, what we do

According to the last census, there are 70,000 Carers in Northamptonshire: for us, that means there are 70,000 reasons to care.
Role of ROCKET and RESTART

Respiratory Therapy Acute Response Team (RESTART) is a team of nurses and physiotherapists who provide care for patients with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). They support early discharge of patients with COPD and also run the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme.
