Weekly Dog walk for Carers or people registered with the SPRING Project on a Friday, with or without a dog
C.A.L.M, Northampton

C.A.L.M is a Group for Carers supporting an adult with mental health difficulties. The group meets on the 1st Friday of the month and allows you to talk to others in a similar situation.
Male Carer Group, Northampton & surrounding areas

Our Male Carers group for the Northampton & surrounding area meets on the 1st Friday of each month between 1pm and 3pm Different venue each time and all welcome

Making Carers Count

Our Making Carers Count project aims to help under-represented Carers to access the support they need to live their lives. We actively support our Global Ethnic Majority (GEM) Carers and are not shy to discuss the complexities of inclusivity. Making Carers Count aims to have an enduring legacy of progressive anti-racist, anti-discriminatory thinking by supporting and training staff to embed inclusivity in everything they do.

National Lottery Community Fund ‘Caring Together’ Project

This project is creating a network of support services for unpaid Carers across Northamptonshire helping to build resilience and and helping to improve the lives of unpaid Carers and those they care for.
ICAN Integrated Care Across Northamptonshire

ICAN is the local interpretation of a scheme in development across the country called Integrated Care Systems. As part of this scheme, we facilitate community asset groups for people living with long-term health conditions and their unpaid carers or loved ones.

Who are carers?

Anyone, including children and adults, who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction and cannot cope without their support. The care they give is unpaid

Role of ROCKET and RESTART

Respiratory Therapy Acute Response Team (RESTART) is a team of nurses and physiotherapists who provide care for patients with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). They support early discharge of patients with COPD and also run the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme.
