Northamptonshire Carers is a local charity which this year celebrates it is 30th anniversary. Our dedicated Young Carers service supports carers as young as five trough a range on one-to-one and group activities.  We are a trusted service provider and flexible employer. You will be joining a creative and supportive team.

We are currently recruiting a Young Carer Activity Worker.

The successful candidate will plan, organise, lead, and report on a regular programme of activities for Young Carers registered with the organisation. These will be focused around improving peer relationships, increasing confidence, and improving the physical and emotional wellbeing of Young Carers.  You will work closely with Young Carer Workers, sessional and volunteer support staff, and local funders to enable Young Carers to have a break from their caring role. 
A large part of this role requires working outside of office hours, activities to be held after school hours, and countywide travel to be expected. 

Hours: 37hrs per week

Area: Countywide Northamptonshire

Responsible to: Young Carers Service Manager / Senior Worker

Base: Wellingborough

Salary: From £21,395 PA full time equivalent (£11.12p/hr)
