Did you know Northamptonshire Carers runs the Caring Together Project which includes supporting Carers from the LGBTQ+ community?

As a project we are interested in finding out whether LGBTQ+ Carers would like to have their own Northamptonshire Carers Coffee Meetups either virtually or face to face meetings. This would be a safe space to meet and a chance to build on your social and support networks. 

We would also love to hear your thoughts around services and support currently available for LGBTQ+ unpaid Carers, positive or negative, to help us plan further for the future.

Wandsworth Carers Centre: Come along to our UK-wide, online coffee meetups for LGBTQ+, unpaid Carers. You might be supporting a friend, child, neighbour, partner, chosen or birth family member who couldn't manage without you. This may be around their physical health, a disability, mental health, or substance misuse.

This group is open to all LGBTQ+ Carers, whether you support someone everyday or once a month. The support you provide could be practical, personal or emotional. We would love to welcome you to an online space where you can meet other LGBTQ+ Carers, chat, share advice and benefit from information/wellbeing sessions.
