Northamptonshire Carers is a local charity which this year celebrates it is 30th anniversary. Our dedicated Young Carers service supports carers as young as five trough a range on one-to-one and group activities.  We are a trusted service provider and flexible employer. We are currently recruiting a Sibling Carer Group Worker.

The successful candidate will plan, organise, and lead on a set programme for sibling carers aged 5-17 registered with the organisation. They will focus on creating peer relationships, increasing understanding and confidence in issues relating to sibling carers, and creating fun whilst offering a break. They will work closely with the Young Carer Workers, sessional workers, and volunteer support staff to enable sibling carers to gain support.
A large part of this role requires working outside of office hours (1-2 evenings a week), groups to be held after school hours in term time and in the day-time in school holidays, and countywide travel to be expected.

Hours: 18hrs per week

Salary: From £10,408 PA actual (£11.12p/hr)
