Northamptonshire Carers is a voluntary organisation, registered charity and network partner of the Carers Trust, supporting informal carers countywide.  We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission to deliver domiciliary care. We are looking to recruit 4 full time salaried Carer Support Workers for our daytime team.

Daytime Care Service

This post is a social care development role within Northamptonshire Carers to support family carers with development of wellbeing and inclusion of health and social care services in the community.

The post holder will work with Managers to develop & provide a hands-on social care service to patients and carers in Northamptonshire. Liaising with Northamptonshire Carers and their partners to provide a link to alternative support

Various hours are available from 18 to 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with a need for flexibility to provide occasional support at weekends and overnight dependant on the needs of the service and Family Carers.

Salaried positions or Zero hours contracts available.

Salary: hourly rate £10.30 PH (£20,085 PA)

Mileage allowance, contributory pension and health benefits package

Full training will be provided. There may also be an opportunity for an apprentice development pathway leading to a formal qualification.

The posts require individuals who have an understanding of the needs of those with care needs and their informal carers. A flexible and person-centred  attitude is essential as is an ability to use your own initiative and communicate effectively. You will need access to a vehicle and a driving licence.
