We are looking for Community Carer Support Worker to provide personal care to adults in their own home and develop a new service to provide regular breaks to unpaid family Carers. This post will make a huge difference to those you will care for and their families whilst allowing you to develop a service that complements Northamptonshire Carers’ wider portfolio of services.

Community Carer Support Worker

Supporting individuals in their own home on waking nights, typically 8pm-8am following a hospital discharge or to avoid admission.

Salary: £10.83 - £11.27 PH (£21,118 - £21,976 PA)

Full training will be provided. There may also be an opportunity for an apprentice development pathway leading to a formal qualification. PPE, mobile phone & mileage is also provided.

The post require individuals who have an understanding of the needs of those with care needs and their informal carers. A flexible and person-centred  attitude is essential as is an ability to use your own initiative and communicate effectively. You will need access to a vehicle and a driving licence.
