Northamptonshire Carers is a voluntary organisation, registered charity and network partner of the Carers Trust, supporting informal carers countywide.  We have recently been regulated by the Care Quality Commission to deliver domiciliary care. We are looking to recruit two full time salaried Carer Support Worker. One daytime and one for our Overnight Discharge Service.

Regulated Carer Support Workers

Hours: 37hrs per week (salaried position)

Northamptonshire-wide travel, working in people’s homes

Daytime role.

Providing regulated care to adults in their own home and acting as a step up from our befriending and volunteer sitting services.

Salary: £18,181.80PA; £9.45 per hour.

Overnight Care Service

Supporting individuals in their own home on waking nights, typically 8pm-8am following a hospital discharge or to avoid admission.

Salary: £19,695PA; £10.10 per hour with a shift pattern of 3 nights on and 3 nights off

Contributory pension and health benefits package

Full training will be provided. There may also be an opportunity for an apprentice development pathway leading to a formal qualification.

The posts require individuals who have an understanding of the needs of those with care needs and their informal carers. A flexible and person-centred  attitude is essential as is an ability to use your own initiative and communicate effectively. You will need access to a vehicle and a driving licence.
