If so, Northamptonshire Carers have a great hybrid working role, 25 to 37 hours per week, any days / hours between Monday to Friday with some evening session and occasional weekends, as a Carer Support Navigator.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be working with the County-wide community team who provide the best possible support for unpaid carers through individual work, group workshops and developing peer support.  You'll complete carers assessments to create a plan with them, reducing the impact of their caring role and improve wellbeing.  Part of this role will include home visits and working at community venues, therefore, it is essential candidates must have the ability for evening and occasional weekend work to meet the needs of the carers.   This role will also cover the Northamptonshire Carers Support Line.

What you need to be part of this new team:

  • Communication skills
  • Great administration using Microsoft packages, Database systems & Whats App Groups
  • Co-ordination & planning 
  • Ability to build relationships easily with carers and partner organisations
  • Right to work in the UK
  • DBS Clearance
