We are really pleased to announce that Northamptonshire Carers have been awarded the Trusted Charity Quality Mark level 2

Following evidence gathering and online submissions over a number of months and rigorous Assessment over one week in May we have just had confirmation that our Trusted Charity Quality Mark (formerly PQASSO) has been Awarded and renewed at Level 2. This is a quality mark awarded by NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) for the excellent work we do as a Third Sector organisation and is the main Quality Mark for the Voluntary Sector.

Trusted Charity is a nationally recognised award and no other quality mark addresses all the essential areas necessary for the effective management and governance of a charity. Achieving Level 2 isn’t easy, we were assessed against the 11 Quality Standards, including Governance, Leadership and management, Managing staff and volunteers, Managing Money, Working with others, to name a few and had to provide comprehensive evidence for over 200 Quality Indicators and proved to meet all standards. This is now the third time we have achieved the Trusted Charity Quality Mark at Level 2.

The feedback from the assessors was extremely positive across the whole of the organisation and the process has enabled us to see and celebrate our strengths and Action plan learning from the whole process.

We would like you to recognise this Quality Mark and our achievement with us. More information on trusted Charity can be found here.  We would particularly encourage you to scroll down and look at the Workbooks at Level 1 and 2 so that you have an understanding of the Quality Areas and Indicators.
