Northamptonshire Carers Choir sang at an extraordinary Christmas carol concert held by the national charity, Carers Trust.  Sharing the stage at St George’s, Hanover Square, London were the City of London Choir and famed trumpeter, Crispian Steele-Perkins.

The evening was closed by a speech by journalist and presenter Andrew Marr who was joined in raising awareness for Carers by actors David Suchet and Greg Wise as well as Carer Jaycee Labouche.

As well as traditional Christmas carols, our Carers Choir sang a new song composed by Matthew White, with lyrics by our wonderful volunteer Joy Sykes. Joy has also written about her experiences volunteering which can be read here.

We would like to thank Carers Trust for inviting our Choir to sing as well as our Choir team, volunteers and brilliant members for making all this possible.
