Organisations such as the County Council or NHS ask for the feedback from Carers or the people they care for as part of a consultation. We will post details here as they are announced.

If you are interested in such consultations, then Healthwatch are a useful organisation.

The Northamptonshire Carers Partnership are seeking Carers Perspective to inform and co-produce a county-wide ‘Northamptonshire All Ages Carers Support Strategy 2022-2025’.

If you are an unpaid family carer, of any age, caring for someone who relies on your support - Your Own Needs and Wants are of Utmost Importance to Us

Please tell us about what you see as the priorities for you; what support you need; how best you can access that support and anything else you feel should be provided to continue in your caring role.

This survey closes on Friday, 29th April 2022 and we will be producing the forward plans over the Summer to consult again on the Draft Strategy in the Autumn, before finalising.

Online donations, direct debits and Friends of Northamptonshire Carers memberships.
1. Northamptonshire Carers is a registered charity (No. 1061417).
2. Data is held in line with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018
3. By donating you are agreeing for payment details (bank details or debit/credit card details) being entered onto Northamptonshire Carers’s website and our partners Go Cardless & Stripe
4. Once entered, bank details are no longer accessible by Northamptonshire Carers.
5. Donations will be used by details will be processed securely through our website and our partners Go Cardless & Stripe for charitable purposes as per our ‘Fundraising Promise’
6. Northamptonshire Carers also hold the name and addresses of Friends of Northamptonshire Carers along with email addresses (optional). This is so we can process payment.

8. Friends of Northamptonshire Carers membership automatically renews at your current rate/frequency if paid via direct debit and you are free to cancel at any time without penalty. Should you pay a one-off annual amount, we will send you a reminder to renew towards the end of you annual membership.

Online Referrals & Carers Assessments
1. By registering my details with Northamptonshire Carers, a confidential computer record will be created. This will be kept securely as per the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR, 2018).
2. If I have provided any information about someone else (i.e. the person(s) I care for), I will ensure that they are advised about this.
3. I understand that Northamptonshire Carers complete Carers Assessments on behalf of Northamptonshire County Council so Carers Assessments and Support Plans are shared securely between these organisations in order to deliver this statutory service.
4. My information will only be shared with other parties with my consent. For example if I agree to be referred to other organisations to provide support.
5. An exception to this would be if Northamptonshire Carers need to report a risk to myself or others whereby Northamptonshire Carers are duty-bound to follow safeguarding policies.
6. If I have completed a Carers Assessment I agree that the information I have provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
7. Copies of any Carers Assessment or Support Plan will be sent to me. I understand that I can also access a copy of my records held by Northamptonshire Carers. Who are carers?

Our Carers Support Line provides a confidential service to support the needs of Adult and Young Carers, including Parent Carers. The service can be accessed by Carers, professionals or anyone with a Carer related enquiry or issue.

Role of ROCKET and RESTART

Respiratory Therapy Acute Response Team (RESTART) is a team of nurses and physiotherapists who provide care for patients with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). They support early discharge of patients with COPD and also run the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme.
