Sherry evening - sell tickets for an evening in your own home. Included in the price is one glass of sherry. Further glasses are by donation only.

Skydiving

Slim - why not raise money as you lose the pounds? Get friends to sponsor you.

Sponsored events - always popular. Bed push, half a beard shave, wheelchair marathon.

Sports events - do you belong to a sports club? Why not persuade them to hold a charity day? People could pay to enter a competition.

Sporting club dinner collection or raffle

Stand up bingo - sell bingo cards around the room, each with one number on it. Ask all the participants to stand up. Spin the balls and when a number is called that person has to sit down. The last one standing scoops the prize. Good for dinner dances.

Supermarket trolley dash - arrange date with manager and sell tickets beforehand. Winning ticket 'dashes' through the store grabbing as much food as possible. Money to pay for goods has to come from proceeds.

Online donations, direct debits and Friends of Northamptonshire Carers memberships.
1. Northamptonshire Carers is a registered charity (No. 1061417).

3. By donating you are agreeing for payment details (bank details or debit/credit card details) being entered onto Northamptonshire Carers’s website and our partners Go Cardless & Stripe
4. Once entered, bank details are no longer accessible by Northamptonshire Carers.
5. Donations will be used by details will be processed securely through our website and our partners Go Cardless & Stripe for charitable purposes as per our ‘Fundraising Promise’
6. Northamptonshire Carers also hold the name and addresses of Friends of Northamptonshire Carers along with email addresses (optional). This is so we can process payment.

8. Friends of Northamptonshire Carers membership automatically renews at your current rate/frequency if paid via direct debit and you are free to cancel at any time without penalty. Should you pay a one-off annual amount, we will send you a reminder to renew towards the end of you annual membership.

Online Referrals & Carers Assessments
1. By registering my details with Northamptonshire Carers, a confidential computer record will be created. This will be kept securely as per the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR, 2018).
2. If I have provided any information about someone else (i.e. the person(s) I care for), I will ensure that they are advised about this.
3. I understand that Northamptonshire Carers complete Carers Assessments on behalf of Northamptonshire County Council so Carers Assessments and Support Plans are shared securely between these organisations in order to deliver this statutory service.
4. My information will only be shared with other parties with my consent. For example if I agree to be referred to other organisations to provide support.
5. An exception to this would be if Northamptonshire Carers need to report a risk to myself or others whereby Northamptonshire Carers are duty-bound to follow safeguarding policies.
6. If I have completed a Carers Assessment I agree that the information I have provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
7. Copies of any Carers Assessment or Support Plan will be sent to me. I understand that I can also access a copy of my records held by Northamptonshire Carers. Who are carers?

Our Carers Support Line provides a confidential service to support the needs of Adult and Young Carers, including Parent Carers. The service can be accessed by Carers, professionals or anyone with a Carer related enquiry or issue.

Role of ROCKET and RESTART

Respiratory Therapy Acute Response Team (RESTART) is a team of nurses and physiotherapists who provide care for patients with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). They support early discharge of patients with COPD and also run the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme.
