Are you Carer Friendly?

Do you support your Working Carers?

Carer Friendly Employers Event

GP Investors in Care Information Session

 Lunch included

This event is open to all staff based within Primary Care settings. You are invited to come along to an interactive session sharing tips, information and contact details as well as showcasing the success stories and benefits of supporting employees who are also in a Caring role.

Hear from Carers that have been helped and from Employers who know it works.

3 million people work and care in the UK – 1 in 9 in every workplace and this figure is set to increase. 1 in 5 carers give up work to care full time.

Carers UK

Supporting carers at work makes business sense. In the current economic climate it is an important time to retain skilled workers rather than recruiting and retraining new staff.

The event is organised by Northamptonshire Carers with funding from the ‘People’s Postcode Trust and promotes the Working Progress Lottery/ESF funded scheme for employers to help Carers on their journey back into work.

Tickets are free of charge but places are limited so please book early

Just by attending the session you will achieve Level 1 in Carer Friendly Employer Accreditation, and the opportunity to plan how to achieve higher levels.
