Are you supporting an adult with mental health difficulties living in Northamptonshire?
Would you like to meet and share experiences with other Carers?
Do you need support and information?

Our Carers Mental Health group will meet on the monthly, alternating between Kettering and Northampton.

We have 2 CALM groups - one for West Northamptonshire, the other for North Northamptonshire. The Northamptonshire group meets on the 1st Friday of every other month in Northampton.

Carers Fishing Group

Monthly Fishing Group Carers on the 2nd Wednesday of the month We even have equipment to borrow if you want to give it a go for the first time.
Dementia Group, Northampton

Dementia Activity Group for people living with Dementia and their Carers, 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month.
Diabetes Group, Kettering

Group for People with Diabetes, 1st Tuesday of the month between 10am and 1pm to learn more and get involved
Kettering Carers Cafe

Our Carers Cafe in Kettering meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 10.30am - 12.30pm in St Andrews Church Rooms All welcome
COPD Empowerment Course (CEC)

A 4 week course for those newly diagnosed with COPD or frequently accessing primary or secondary care. Registration must be completed prior to attending groups. Please refer to the BSpace admin contact details on the poster. This is to ensure the right support group is offered and medical details are logged in order to access consultations with the doctor.

Who are carers?

Anyone, including children and adults, who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction and cannot cope without their support. The care they give is unpaid

Support line

Our Carers Support Line provides a confidential service to support the needs of Adult and Young Carers, including Parent Carers. The service can be accessed by Carers, professionals or anyone with a Carer related enquiry or issue.
Role of ROCKET and RESTART

Respiratory Therapy Acute Response Team (RESTART) is a team of nurses and physiotherapists who provide care for patients with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). They support early discharge of patients with COPD and also run the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme.
